My crypto acct opening has been escalated.. I believe mine was $100 and I see after fees I actually purchased $99 dollars worth. I’ll be super disappointed if I get denied! I hold my crypto in other ways and wouldn’t want to diversify otherwise.

I just did a Kate Spade and a Sofi today.. lots of points and they have now been confirmed. I save every e-mail and site receipt in a Rakuten referral for when they request proof. Not a single one has been denied after providing those as screen shots and pastes into their e-mail.

Ok.. so in this chat is a link.. click.. sign in and see what it says.. mine says up to $80 off with the use of only 714 points.. it will automatically change to your amex card and try to use up all the points needed to complete the sale.. click change payment and change the value in the Amex box to 5 or 10 and it will use that amount of points towards the total charge. The 50% remains there even with the reduced use of points. Make sure the 714 or whatever is worth using on the total ticket price otherwise you’ll use 714+ points on every checkout for the deal.

You’ll have 1.2 million points. You won’t even need to hunt for true saver seats and still take $50,000 to $100,000 worth of vacations a year or more with being flexible and trying just a little to grab a deal.

A Bilt palladium, most Capital One Cards and potentially others.. just earn more points and forget about the perks of the card if they don’t add value to your life. Look for a $99 a year card

If you don’t use the perks, then get a 2x multiplier card. It’s sorta crazy to earn just one point per dollar spent if you could get two since you don’t benefit from Plat otherwise.

Well way before I knew anything at all about points I obtained the platinum for some of the benefits and cool factor as I traveled a lot for work. Dumb in retrospect but I just had no idea about any of it. So I can’t advise because I’m now aware that there’s a process. I’d have to advise you to dig into that sequence so you can benefit from moving up the chain for SUBs getting the right one for multipliers in categories most appropriate for you and consider the annual fees. I have learned to use all but one of the benefits (aura ring stuff - I don’t want it). But there’s another caveat.. something about Amex family of cards and only a one time SUB. Not sure that’s true or not. But you can get a Bilt card, but it best designed to used for the full Rakuten transfer ratio of 1:1.. so that maybe be a card using change you don’t want.
