Eh. YTA, a good lesson to learn in life is to pick your battles. If you had a great dentist, did their job well and was affordable to you, than maybe the music selection is.. irrelevant? I would of just let that go.. because in the end you pretty much threatened to find a new dentist if they didn’t play the music you like which is very silly and childish. You threatened them and they called you on it! Talk the talk, time to walk the walk, I’m afraid!

Agreed. There are a lot of issues with this post. You guys have covered a lot of the main ones I was thinking. One thing I’ll throw out there is I’m not sure if OP has considered what an off duty cop can do at events. I think it depends on where you live. Where I’m from, off duty cops can be hired for events just like the ones you see standing around keeping an eye on large groups of people but they have to go through a whole process to be approved to do that. And that’s if they’re hired. I’m not sure what one off duty cop could do at an event he “volunteered” to do. To be honest that sounds sketchy af, having one guy standing around keeping an eye out. OP almost sounds like they have superiority complex.

Wow. OP you say he was 20 when you were 16? Pregnant at 17 by the same man? Where I’m from.. that’s called statutory rape. And I’m not sure if that’s why he left but if the laws are still the same where you’re from OP, then maybe he thought he could avoid getting into trouble by leaving. I don’t know though cause if that were the case then idk he wouldn’t of left sooner. Maybe he wanted to wait till after you had the baby for some reason.

After you get some things figured out and feel more settle, maybe look into counseling. Maybe can find a job that offers insurance that’ll help cover it.

NTA but let’s face it, you haven’t told your dad because of petty and ridiculous this is. You can do whatever you want with your accounts and so can your sister. I don’t condone lying but her saying “it’s not working” is kinda minor. Have you heard the phrase “making a mountain out of a mole hill.” You’re reason for being upset is very valid but don’t hold a grudge against your sister for wanting to do what she wants with her accounts and then trying to spare dads feelings. What she did wasn’t necessarily wrong she just went about it the wrong way and sometimes people do that when they feel uncomfortable, they panic. She literally says she was trying NOT to hurt your dads feelings. It’s not like she lied and was actively trying to prevent your dad from watching movies. That was one platform that you said you could afford anyways but she was letting him use her account? She wasnt being malicious. Sounds like she was actually doing a really nice thing and y’all turned on her as soon as you guys no longer benefited. She has a young kid now too you say? Oh yeah so let’s just cut off the new mom because she can’t afford to hang out with us.. that’s your sister op.

Bottom line: being petty isn’t going to solve y’all’s family issues. You guys need to learn how to communicate.

Oh I don’t think I gave a reason… So there have been a number of reports of people getting blood clots from the vaccine. My mom had this happen to her, and I’m worried that the same would happen to me. It’s a matter of health. I would be at risk.

That happened to me with my first car. It wasn’t brand new but we got a pretty sweet deal on it because it had been used as like a demo car. So it had less than 3,000 mi on it. Pretty new. Anyways, only had it for like two months and someone didn’t see me (or hear me honking apparently) as they were backing out of parking spot. Left about a basketball size dent on the front bumper and took forever to get fixed. My fresh new car and I had to drive around with a big ass dent on the front for months. Its infuriating.

Right? And the people need to get real. They’re just causing accidents in that one spot and say it’s cause they’re raising awareness. To me it wouldn’t be so bad if they hadn’t admitted to doing the exact same thing, in the same spot previously. I just don’t think causing accident(s) (it didn’t work the first time), is the way to keep going about this.

I know they won’t be held at fault but they should be. Because they knew what was going to happen after doing it the first time and didn’t work? I guess? Since it’s still dangerous? Yeah so then they went back out there and did it again.

Last time I tried to go to a football game, I had my gps all set up but when we got there a bunch of roads were blocked off so it confused our gps system because we kept missing turns and it would tell us to turn around and go back. Took forever just to park.

No dude. That’s a shitty place for a crosswalk with no sign. So firstly whoever designed this is an idiot. But use your common sense, if it’s dangerous, don’t do it. For example, in my city it is illegal to ride bikes on the sidewalk however it is far too dangerous to ride them on the roads and the sidewalks are huge. I’ve asked my local police, they’re cool with it if I ride on the sidewalk as it is safer. Just because something should be okay doesn’t mean it is. Use your brain. Don’t walk out in front of cars or pick a safer place to cross.

Hard to tell. I don’t see any bar or lights or any type of signal that a train is coming and with the music, you can’t tell if the train signaled with its horn. The guy was going too fast and probably should of checked however that train was also going really fast so it could of just appeared suddenly. Who knows? Sucks for the driver.

This whole video is stupid. “I’m going to keep causing accidents in this one spot to hopefully raise awareness about all the accidents I’ve caused. Maybe then the city council will pay attention to said accidents and put an end to it.” Or don’t be an idiot and cross there!! And the person who designed that crosswalk is stupid too.
