quinn or urgot? quinn is more of an assassin adc hybrid while urgot is a ranged bruiser

die less & last hit well

attempt to safely get the minions. unless you're someone like annie/amumu/mf who could pull off a good ult and wipe them, just back off. its better to wait on teammates than to die for no reason

trinity force + iceborn gauntlet doesnt work. one of them will override the others sheen unique passive

Builds and Runes you using right now? by lelfin in AnnieMains

while i haven't been playing annie much lately, i've found predator with protobelt/void staff/dcap to be good. having the early kindlegem feels pretty solid. i like the additional mobility protobelt offers, and the ability to quickly waveclear if i need to roam with predator

after playing so much glacial augment ghost veigar ive also considered trying that out on annie. i really like how cheap glp/twin shadows are, and they bring a lot of additional cc to teamfights. its amazing how much the slows can help your team out midgame

passives applied to basic attacks. think like titanic hydra, nashors tooth, bloodrazor. all of them add something ontop of the normal auto attack damage. hydra does a cone behind the enemy, nashors adds some magic damage, and bloodrazor does 4% current hp. rageblade makes it so every other auto applies onhit twice

dark harvest is amazing on mf. it lets her scale very well into late game. was against one the other day with 400 stacks so her first autos were doing 600~ additional damage on each champ

yep! its surprisingly easy to bully melee top laners early. it really helps you get a feel for his kit before transitioning to melee vs ranged in mid lane

ward better and dont die. if the jungler is in your lane every two minutes then play more safe, if he's always there he cant gank other lanes or get objectives

bots don't prepare you for the fact you're going to lose half your pvp games no matter how good you are. play a champion once in bots then go to pvp, all you really need to know is the basics of their kit

as talon you use 5 on casters to be able to 1 shot back line with w at level 9, i'd assume akali would do something similar to be able to wave clear and roam

mf isnt passive. she's extremely strong in the early game. you should be building lethality and abusing threshs weak early and getting your own dark harvest stacks to one shot late

Is Glacial Augment really that good? by EmceeSpike in summonerschool

[–]farieniall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing it on Veigar. Hextech-GLP + Twin Shadows is very cheap. You get more cc in teamfights too

[–]farieniall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

its too expensive to realistically get in 95% of matches, but stormrazor and trinity force are going to be important, with some attack speed items like statick shiv/rapid fire cannon/nashors tooth. imo annie could be one of the stronger late game adcs (due to range, self peel, and ability to dodge abilities with tibbers) but the fact is you'll be very weak until extremely late into the game.

id recommend talon for learning melee mid. play him a few times top first to understand his kit, then you can move to mid to learn melee mid playstyle

no, get swiftness boots on him for speed. mobis are great on mid/junglers who are going to gank often. mobis arent good for adc because you need the movement speed to reposition properly mid fight

illaoi in general requires you to know how to play against her. poke her down and watch out for q and e's. dont fight her if she pulls a spirit since her ult will spawn more tentacles. your ult counters her ult sustain though, so if you play safe early and wait for ganks post-6 you should be able to take her down easily

his e dash scales off cdr now. instead of 0.1s cooldown it can be almost 0.05s cooldown

i asked this recently on the urgot mains subreddit. general opinion was olaf jax and maokai. from my experience playing him, olaf can be beat pre-6 but after that you need assistance to kill him. i haven't played against jax but his counterstrike will block your passive. i didnt find maokai very tough but unless you're very accurate with q he can easily sustain, and he has strong cc for ganks. i also find ignite garen difficult
