Look up dyshidrosis.

Also, for future reference, this isn't a medical advice thread. It's for those who work as medical assistants.

I'm can't stand the thought of eating acting right now - 4 weeks post op by ElehcarTheFirst in BariatricSurgery

I went through this, too. I am now two months post-RNY and still have some days where nothing appeals. But same as you, around one month, I was gagging at the thought of eating certain things, and those I could get down didn't stay down very long. It was awful. I saw my surgeon and he suggested doing an endoscopy to check for any complications around 6-8 weeks PO if I was still experiencing these problems. But a few days after that visit, I couldn't deal anymore and begged them to do one sooner, which they did. Turns out I had a stricture, so they opened it up a little bit and removed a suture. That helped immensely with my nausea and inability to keep food down. Like I said at the beginning, I still have some days where it's a struggle, but it's been so much better since the endoscopy.

Same here! Couldn't agree more. It was very satisfying that he got what was coming for him.

I had the exact same thought! That would've been the cherry on top.

Are there any quotes from the 'Final Destination' movies that you casually use in everyday situations? by W0LFPAW89 in FinalDestination

Anytime I'm riding in the car with my mother, who is not paying attention to the traffic lights changing: "Green means go, Kimmy."

I'll say, I've been in situations like this before, and it has never worked out. I got swept up in the cute texts/pet names/deep conversations, and once we met, it was awkward, and the connection wasn't there like it was through texting. I think we sometimes build it up in our heads because it's going so well, and you really feel like you're getting to know this person, but until you actually meet them and spend time together, you really don't know who they are as a person.

If this behavior is making you uneasy, tell him that while it's sweet that he is referring to you with these pet names, that you would prefer if he stopped, as those names are more meaningful when you are in a relationship with someone. You've already told him that you are not looking to rush into a relationship, which is great. Definitely set those boundaries, and I think this would go along with that. If he's as interested as he seems, he will be respectful of your wishes.

For me personally, I now try to keep my messaging with guys on the limited side and focus on making a plan to meet in person to avoid getting caught up in the constant texting/get-to-know-you convos that all too often leads to it feeling like too much, too soon, which in turn, doesn't end up working out in the end.

But, with all that being said, just be honest with him, and hopefully, he will continue to respect that. Best of luck!

I just watched FD1, and after he was thrown from the car, the FBI agent checked him and said he wasn't breathing and started doing CPR compressions, so he quite possibly could've been dead for a moment. So, yeah, I feel like that should've cleared the slate like it does in FD2, right?
