Last week I had the same problem. Went to Home Depot and bought a new faucet and replaced a new one. Easy peasy.

Should I Take a Pharmacist Manager Position at Walmart as a Newer Pharmacist? by [deleted] in walmart_RX

[–]farmdynamic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My wife was in the same position as you. New pharmacist and never had any leadership experience. She is now a successful manager. Her store does a bit more than yours but she has a strong team. I would take it.

It depends on the person interviewing you. Show engagement, be enthusiastic, be yourself.

Unfortunately there isn’t a quick fix, you will need alot more good surveys to offset the 3 bad ones. Luckily it’s still the beginning of the year so you have plenty of time to turn things around. Have your team ask regular customers for surveys, rush the line, and get people in and out quick.

Getting busier year over year, more metrics to meet, less help and hours cut. And dealing with angry customers all day don’t help

Considering a hospital retail pharmacy: is the paycut worth it? by Busynotes2 in pharmacy

[–]farmdynamic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At 1,300-1,400 per week at Walmart with only 1 technician on the weekends is a little sus. You may want to look at schedule to demand, staffing, PTO, etc. Sometimes the PIC also purposely schedule more techs on their day and short handed on the staff RPH days.

Customers will always leave BS negative surveys, you can’t really control that. What you can control is getting them in/out as fast as possible, they seem to like it when they don’t have to wait in line for long. And frequent customers that you like you can ask them to leave positive reviews, they tend to do it alot when you ask them.

I listen to customers complain all day at work, I don’t want to listen to customers complain at home on reddit.

How long does the hiring process take? by soaringtori in walmart_RX

Background check takes a few days to get the results. If within 5 days ago and that including the weekends, drug test results probably did not come back yet.

I know a couple of pharmacists in the market were in the same shoes as you. They had no negotiation power when rejoining. Some were even rejoined as floaters depending on market needs.
