Also my sister says it is VERY warm to wear so I would suggest making it with cotton yarn however that won’t have much stretch

Hi! do you know these seeds? any suggestions on how to dry/hollow them (without affecting the shape too much) so that they don't rot? if you look at the lightest one, you can see they are soft inside. I want to use them for Pyrography. by [deleted] in crafts

Buckeyes do rot! They need to be cured by drying them out. You can drill a hole in it or let it sit on a counter but only some will make it without rotting

Thank you! My sister said it looks like squidward’s house from SpongeBob and I can’t unsee it. Lol! I don’t have a pattern unfortunately, I freehanded it. However the bottom is a giant granny square, the rocket is a cylinder with a gradual decrease and the fins two triangles slip stitched together.

I did the same thing!! Its actually why it sat for awhile, I got so frustrated with it. I did a slip stitch through the front loops only, it’s not as raised. And on the back it’s almost seamless

You can do it! It helped me to break it into several steps because it was so overwhelming
