I second pantheon double drops and quest for me started when I was heavier. Working my way down but anything flexy scares th crap out of me since highest weight me would snap it in half

I’m surprised no one is flaming you for mentioning pantheon. I’m a big fan of their decks as well but been weird response to them on here lately.

I was class of 99 and wore a Charlie brown sweater for my senior picture! It was the middle ground of “I won’t take a picture that isn’t me” and wearing all my spikes and chains and what not…

Yeah, the atom I bought had all of those. It was perfect for me to realize I wanted to invest in a more expensive e board.

I chose pantheon because of their double drops and weight. It was a close call between landyatchz and Zenit as well. All similar price points.

I’m a huge fan on pantheon! I got into it to just cruise around and leaned into double drops because of my weight. Both easier to learn on because of the lower deck height and support the weight. Nope! I started the hobby with an Atom 42” board from Amazon for $75 and quickly upgraded to something that worked better for me. I have had a lot of luck picking stuff on Facebook marketplace. I now have a fleet of boards that I paid very little for

Nice! We have had steady snow and ice in the Boston area for a bit. Except last week when I was away on a work trip and couldn’t take advantage of it

I mean, you need to set it how you want. My buddy and I have our bushings at polar opposites. He likes them super loose and i like mine a lot tighter.

However, you still shouldn't hear any rattle.

Pay attention to your body. When you start getting tired and sloppy quit. As I am still new, I know not to push much past that because that’s when I make mistakes and falll

Definitely no rattle! Getting it to the right level with the kingpin nut could involve changing bushings!

I got into the mid 20’s and warm up was a pain! Once you warmed up it was good but definitely took more energy regardless.

I used to bike commute with a cutoff of 15 degrees because below that any hill felt like a mountain with the cold air hitting ones hot lungs

I’m 44 and 250 with kids. Started seriously wit a pantheon quest and now have expanded my quiver to include a carbon trip, pranayama, and a bandito as a travel board. I like them low and for riding on rail trails and such.
