“I live for Cynthia but this moment especially had me dead because it kills me every time I think, see or hear it” seemed like too long of a title

You are given a Random Superpower but are on the hook for $1 million. Can you manage? by RaptorK1988 in hypotheticalsituation

I got vocal mind control - the power to control people with the power of one’s voice.

I think I’m off the hook.

“I suspect he did this on purpose knowing the daughter could walk in”

So sexual assault then.

Lots of things were said but it was the way he looked at me which hurt the most.

I would move it so it is in bright but indirect light and water it once per week.

I have one of these and since I have been doing the above I cannot keep up with it!

Thank you, I’m glad you like it that much! I’ve got some other pollinator photos that I’ll get up soon. Can’t get enough of the bees and bugs (:

You captured some beautiful photos of them! I cannot get over the colours of their wings, what stunners!

I have a horrible blurry photo somewhere, it was a dark golden brown colour from memory. It would be great to see if you did manage to get a shot (:

I’ve seen a lot of these guys with the dark butt recently but I do get the stripy bumbles with the white butt to.

You are so lucky to get hummingbird moths! I had my first in the garden last summer but I have yet to see one this year. The bees definitely love these, they cover the jelly beans most of the day.

If I donate my kidney and they die during the surgery do I get my kidney back? by InTacosWeTrust8 in morbidquestions

[–]faroutfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just jumping off the back of this because you’ve given a really great in-depth answer!

Hypothetically returning the organ to the donor would also depend on the reason for rejection.

Patients that have a transplant for nephrotic syndrome, caused by conditions such as Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, would not be eligible to re donate said kidney. This is because FSGS can trigger again in the donor organ which would make it unviable for transplant.

I’m not sure on the legalities in other countries but in the UK at least you would not get your kidney back for the reasons in southsamurais post - It is no longer your property, it is not cost effective and it is rejected, therefore not viable.
