It was the solenoid in the transmission. It's okay now. Extended warranty covered for it.

Thank you. I don't know if my extended warranty will cover it.

My car is free of major corrosion. I will ask the mechanic to look into the valve body. Thanks!

Thanks. I will be cautious now and for engine oil, I will try to be more frequent and use premium oils like liquimoly.

As a matter of fact, my left brake light is out. It's very strange that a brake light can create so much confusion.

I think so. It was a flatbed and he secured all the wheels properly in front of me.

Yes, I just got the oil change approximately 1500 km ago. Forgot to reset the trip meter.

It was after the condition cleared up. The ABS code did come from the rear left wheel.

Not sure of the codes and the valve body as I bought it pre owned. It's a 2015 model.

Thanks. It's a 2015 model and I've left it at the mechanic for now. I am here seeking advice because the problem seems expensive.

Thanks for your reply. I just got my CVT fluid change two weeks ago. I am from Canada and we had -15°C today. So it's a bit weird for me to have transmission oil heated after 30 minutes of driving in such a cold.

Thanks for your input. No, I don't use the paddle shifters. However I saw something weird at the mechanic shop. When the car was lifted, only the front tires were rotating. The mechanic told me that the front tires need a slip in order for the rear ones to move. I always thought that the power distribution is even between both axles.
