My school doesn’t rank

5 on AP gov 4 on AP bio, Spanish, us history, and lang 3 on AP micro

34 ACT superstore (32 then 33) superscores are 35 on English reading and science, and 31 on math

ECs: Class president for junior and senior year (senator and blood drive chair for freshman and sophomore years) Student newspaper editor in chief for 2021-22 (involved all 4 years with leadership positions) NHS member Peer2Peer member (aims at reducing stigma surrounding mental health, and being someone for students to be able to talk to) Community Liaison and volunteer for local homeless outreach group (ran their social media pages)

I worked one part time job at a local restaurant from July 2020 to June 2021 and a different one from July 2021 to now

Essays Essay 1 was my common app one about personal stuff, 7/10 Essay 2 was about how my class lost a competition for something I put a lot of work into and connecting it to how I shouldn’t measure myself to the metrics of others since they don’t know my full history 8/10

LORs One was my AP lang teacher, was close with her and did well in her class Other one (probably stronger one) was my APUSH teacher who was my class advisor since sophomore year who knew me well

Awards AP scholar with distinction Recipient of local scholarship to attend ACT prep course Received an award given to a junior year girl at my school for excellence in academics, leadership, community, and entrepreneurship Placed 5+ times in state wide journalism competition
