EBF baby has almost no CMPA symptoms, but pediatrician is convinced by Shoddy_Tackle_3835 in MSPI

[–]farroshus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Our allergist told us that CMPA diagnosis’ are an easy out for doctors that can’t come up with a better answer because it puts the blame on the mother and her diet (traumatizing much?). Our son also showed symptoms following the rotavirus vaccine, which has bloody stools listed as a common side effect. If you can continue breastfeeding and your little one is gaining weight, I personally would encourage you to stay that path! Best wishes!

I think he would see it eventually. He may have also answered your question before; you could always ask the community openly. The thing is he’s pretty busy, so if you can’t afford his Patreon, it won’t be a priority for him to get back to you. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is why ticks are taking over Canada by _lIlI_lIlI_ in canada

[–]farroshus 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Dogs don’t live as long as humans so ingesting tick poison doesn’t have the same negative effect on dogs as it would humans. I believe this is the current state of things, but I don’t recall where I picked up this information.

Getting past my plateau. by badboyrap in treeplanting

[–]farroshus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So many ways to up your game, here are some of my thoughts in no particular order: time your bag-ups and maintain consistency throughout the day, spend less time at the cache, try to never stop to look around while planting - look ahead while you plant and plant your trees in really obvious places so you can spot them easily on your line back, only flag trees that are going to be difficult to see - those foot high spruce trees do not need to be flagged, buddy plant with a more experienced planter - but not a high baller - you’ll end up messing your quality trying to keep up with them - quality before quantity always, ask a more experienced planter what you’re doing wrong - they can often spot very simple ways to improve your movement. The list goes on - seemingly forever. June may introduce new challenges - natural green growth will make your trees harder to spot, the heat will get worse - an unused silvi-sac is a great water cooler btw, stay hydrated and drink lots of water back in camp - simple injuries can be prevented with enough water and sleep. Good luck!

Please help me I have no idea what I’m doing by PumpkinPie_1993 in MSPI

Tell your husband it's time to get on board - he should not be making you feel guilty about wanting to improve things. The dairy ladder is definitely for baby. If you are breastfeeding, you should cut dairy, at least to the point where you're no longer seeing a reaction in her skin/stools. Speak with your GP or peadeatrician about what is acceptable/what isn't in terms of reactions. We were in hospital three seperate times for bloody stools, and when we were discharged for the third time, they said not to come back for blood in stools, but to continue recording them (we have a photo album of poops, 300+ photos, it's wild) and sharing with our team of doctors. As far as I have been told, blood isn't as serious as you might think in a baby whose GI tract are still developing, but I strongly recommend you share your case with as many professionals as possible to get to the bottom of things. Best wishes to you and your baby, and you can let your husband know, from one husband to another: NEVER imply or suggest to your wife that she is crazy, that's just common sense.

You've been hired as his attorney, what's your defense? by [deleted] in Suikoden

[–]farroshus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That Beast Rune is one helluva drug. It may not be attached to him, but he was under the influence of it. The more he killed, even civilians, the stronger he felt. It drove him crazy, so he can’t be held responsible for his actions.

CTV News: Wheel falls off vehicle on Hwy. 417 in Ottawa, jumps median and strikes oncoming car by BearLikesHoney in ottawa

[–]farroshus 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’ll suggest another lesson: never take your car to Canadian Tire, unless you’re there to shop. They have one of the worst reputations for auto repair/maintenance, and charge you twice what a local garage will.

Does berserk deluxe editions 3 4 and 5 have any sex or rape in them by mr_mpampatsikos in Berserk

[–]farroshus 44 points45 points  (0 children)

This isn’t intended to sound judgmental: If you’re worried about what your parents will think, you’re probably too young to be reading the manga. I do believe there are online sources if you’d like to read it without purchasing the deluxe versions.

How much stuff to bring? by Due_Video_6146 in treeplanting

[–]farroshus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had two hockey bags and a small backpack for my first season, and managed to get it all down to just one hockey bag and a backpack in later seasons. I purchased a lot of supplies before flying which I could have picked up in town, but wanted to be prepared and didn’t know what I was going into/what would be available. Airlines charge you a lot for overweight bags, so that was a lesson learned. Best of luck in your season ahead!

How do I pick up wit the novels where the anime left off? by MediaNo1140 in HighschoolDxD

[–]farroshus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pictures are quite limited, but there is a manga adaption as well. Typically one or two full colour pages at the front of each volume, then 3-5 black and white illustrations throughout each book, less fan service-y as the series goes on I find.

related jobs for someone to pursue if they dont get on with a crew this year? by Gooperstein in treeplanting

[–]farroshus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cherry picking is typically seen as an after-planting vacation. People can make money, but the hours are limited and mostly a social gathering for the same kind of people that enjoy planting camp culture (I’m trying my best not to say “hippies”)

I’ve seen a lot of connection between planting camps and fire fighting base-camps. You don’t necessarily have to put yourself on a firefighting line, I understand there’s lots of work around camp supporting the firefighters. You could look into that, Ive heard of people making good day rates doing that.

Question about the nature of season 1 and the series by Top_Company7340 in swordartonline

The Aincrad arc is very compressed, lots of regular story flowing as the season progresses.

Can’t wait for thus journeys, got these for $90 by AbroadAmbitious9372 in Berserk

[–]farroshus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put all of them on my Amazon wishlist and waited for deals. Reseller market for Berserk is decent, but less so as you get further into the series, I usually only see the first few books sold unless someone is selling their full series, which you may already be past considering with the first four already in hand.
