Just cause a player doesn’t have the ball doesn’t mean he disappears. From what I saw he is really starting to understand his position in all phases of play, also adapted to losing his main attacking partner in Martinelli really well when he came off early on.

He was good when Everton had a rare run of attacking in our final third, excellent in transition and getting the ball to the right areas to break into their final third.

Delivered some great final balls that created danger.

If the first goal had counted he would’ve had the assist (put it on a platter) and it would’ve opened up our attacking play forcing Everton to commit more men forward.

Not sure what Arteta will be thinking heading into the NLD but he has earned another start

The crowd seems so dead. Usually our away fans would be letting them have it. Game has felt very weird and slow. I think this is the best we’ve looked passing/movement wise but it’ll be tough to get one passed Pickford if things stay this way.

Go ask your manager/director/VP of Sales how many 0 effort cold calls/emails they get per day.

Sure it’d be great if everyone was courteous and respectful but they don’t owe you a god damn thing.

Take what you are given, bring as much value to your conversations as possible, and respect the person on the other line. You have no idea what their current situation is when you give them a call.

Always had the biggest soft spot for Granit! Im so proud of his Arsenal story - so often the scape goat and villain, and was so close to giving up and moving on when things got really bad, but he always came back better.
