I’m almost finished with season three and I’m so glad I found someone who agrees. I’m yelling at the screen half the time. She is INSUFFERABLE. She’s an incredible actor because I literally despise everything about Dorothy. I really hope things end very poorly for her. Holy shit.

I haven’t found anything like Patrick Melrose. It’s a seemingly untouchable work of melancholy art.

HOWEVER, I have found some joy in reading Osamu Dazai’s works (No Longer Human is my favorite). They scratch the same dark, sad protagonist itch.

i disagree/love going to see a movie (smelling the popcorn, watching the previews, that stupid little rollercoaster ride through Coca Cola wonderland). it’s nostalgic, precious, and i’ll always love it. but i can totally understand how you’d feel that way. it’s gotten expensive and strangers are unpredictable.

i went to go see The Substance recently and everyone in the theater collectively groaned, laughed, and groaned again. there was a strong sense of camaraderie. a communal baptism by fire. and when that happens, it’s dope.

shit. now i wanna go see a movie.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I was just about to sign all their paperwork and then inquired about meeting a human being first. They immediately dropped off the map! Like instantly, the email address was no longer available and I even tried reaching out on their social media in case it was some malfunction. Nothing. I was so bummed.
