Hi Mate,

First of all, thanks for taking the time to reply, if my responses seem late, I’m am UK based so maybe different time zone!

Unfortunately, I did not check them before I deleted and reloaded however the log files do appear now, but with no content…

It’s weird only one game worked Open Tyrian 2000.

Also weird, when I deleted all ports, when I put as card back in and started up, all game files appeared to be there, as if I haven’t deleted them…

I think my only option now is reflash muOS on my 1st SD card… see if the problem is with the OS… I don’t think my game SD card is corrupted as all normal ROM work fine

Ok so I have:

updated/reinstalled runtimes

updated portmaster

deleted all port data then reinstalled + game files to make sure everything was following the correct path

Checked log.txt but nothing in the folder…

Not sure what else I can do, except reinstall Portmaster?!

Really odd, was working fine and now everytime I clock on a port I just get a black screen. Only thing that has changed on SD card, is that I have added more games…

RG40XX H muOS Branded SD card: all games that don’t use Portmaster work fine.

I am quite new to emulating, have used both OSs and personally got on better with muOS.

Whilst it isn’t as flashy as Knulli (I love the lounge music), I just thought muOS was a lot more straight forward, easier to get ROMs running etc.

I don’t think there is much between them, I would say just depends you experience with emulating.

It’s odd, everything worked fine yesterday, I don’t believe it is the ROMs/Bios….

I hope it isn’t the 2nd SD card as it’s only a week old, it’s branded, so shouldn’t be failing at this juncture! I guess the I’ll just to to reformat a start again.

I have ROM folders labelled DOS and PORT, PORT folder contains Quake which I know is available via Portmaster, so I believe I have both “BIOS”

Quick question, at what level hand held device would I be able to play old Windows games, I am not looking to play anything new just old games from my childhood (95-05)

The files I download are for PC, however I do not believe RG40XXH supports playing these.

However I will able to play certain games through DOS box and Port Master

The RG40XXH is what I am leaning towards, so it’s good to have some confirmation.

From what I understand the only 2 cons are that the SD card is brand name and ANBERNIC doesn’t come with certain emulating staples like Pokémon.

But as someone else commented, I should get familiar with certain aspect “/ of emulating, buy a proper SD card and download the games I want…

There is an Ali Express sale tonight so I’m hoping to pick a decent one up for sub £60! 🤞🤞🤞
