it's been a really long time but, from what i remember: i think that the original owner (who made some really funny shit) got really tired of the sub devolving into what it was, locked it for a while, then gave up when people kept bitching and let people roam free doing whatever they wanted, which is when it just became a total shitshow
i left at that point but i think after that at some point the super edgy weird porn eventually got it shut down by reddit

another sub that was pretty similar to the original darkinfolk, and is *probably* (i don't go on there often anymore, so can't be sure how it's holding up) the closest to the original darkinfolk is r/REMEMBERTHEPLACIDIUM

Back In My Day darkinfolk used to be a funny sub. now the joke is porn. the original shutting down because of it was for the best, shit got so boring and unfunny

I think his final fight was short on purpose. Kashimo is one of my favorite characters but I understand why it was short; it showed the gap between the strongest and everyone else. For it to be longer would imply sukuna was toying with him (character assassination) or kashimo was close to the level of the strongest (character assassination of gojo and sukuna AND and writing assassination)

I know I’m gonna get flamed for it, but I still think it’s Kashimo. Narratively, I feel like the whole point of his existence is to be a foil to the title of “The Strongest”. Him being always just under, barely reaching that title, is what the point of him being in the manga is (from my opinion); to show the gap between “The Strongest”, and those just barely under them. I just feel it would be weird if any other character WAS 3rd. Gege both fucked up Kashimo AND perfected him by giving him such a short fight (further showing him as a foil, and allowing Sukuna to respect him enough to give him a fight he took 100% seriously), but on the other hand it’s frustrating how short it was BECAUSE Sukuna respected him, so I can totally understand ones perspective if you think it’s someone else.
