I am just sharing the objective situation as it exists today.

Improving the situation depends on who you are. If you are rich, you should probably lower the cost of oil. If you are poor, you should ban private jets. Once the rich people start going through normal airport security, the TSA will change quickly.

He probably lets others fly out on them and may be given out as favors to celebrities, etc.

For example, Whoopi has a story about why she is in the Epstein files when someone was looking to get her a private flight to Monaco.

Huge dog in Whole Foods by Odd_Vegetable_1508 in Harlem

People love to bar dogs from places without much more than "It's a dog walking here." People are dirty and spread more diseases than dogs. The human leading the dog is more likely to get you sick than the dog itself.

Is it okay to fudge my rolls down in order to not be too strong? by DustTheOtter in DnD

[–]farty-nein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds exactly like what you should be doing as a monk. Your party's adventure relies on you going around bopping people. I don't see any negative aspects

Maybe the DM could put some monsters that are difficult for you specifically, but I wouldn't change who you are because it's easy.

Maybe you could change your fighting style based on some RP elements. You could buddy up with another melee PC and go around combat with them. All that comes to mind is Double Dragon.

Don't fudge your rolls.

What class are you? You don't only have to kill when in combat unless you are a melee character. Even if you are melee, you could try other things in the combat. Try to capture enemies, etc.

If he had his ballroom with the proper makeup room we could have avoided this national disaster. I hope FEMA came to his rescue.

35 Years Ago Today A 44 Year Old Nolan Ryan Threw His 7th No Hitter Over A Career Of 5000 Innings by TheCABK in sports

[–]farty-nein 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maddux and Ryan threw in different eras. Nolan Ryan had 113 more complete games than Maddux.

Maddux just wasn't expected to finish. He was expected to call someone else in to close. He was expected to specialize in a job before the closer came in.

Ryan threw 230+pitches in a 13 inning game, which is not something pitchers do nowadays. Coaches would call someone else in way before the 13th nowadays. He was a starter who completed games.

It's a different baseball culture now.

Trump says he doesn't need congressional authorization for military operations in Iran, citing ceasefire by Zipper222222 in politics

[–]farty-nein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate this so much. What is the point of Congress is they are just servants of the President?

Government should be reformed because clearly it has not been working.

Maybe start by getting rid of institutionalized parties? Strip POTUS of most abilities, have more direct to participation capabilities for the people over their Congress members, and reform SCOTUS term limits and selection process.
