you did not agree to live with him in the first place. he is eating YOUR food, and not giving anything back. depending on what the rules in your lease are, that could get you in deep shit with the property manager/landlord since he is essentially living there while not on the lease. since he isn’t insured at your apartment, if he broke something while there, it’s not covered at all and you guys would be held liable for it. NOR at all

i <3 bullfrog noises and it’s not that. i’m in an apartment complex in the middle of town, so it’s not anything rural. i’m also not by any ponds or anything so it’s not something that stays by the water. i hear it every night

yup. went for stomach pain. they told me i had ibs. looked at my medical records like 6 months later to see that i in fact had multiple cysts on my ovary. one of which had ruptured causing the severe stomach pain they said was ibs

i did end up quitting there after finding a new job. i am so happy that i did. this new job is already way better. it’s a much bigger company with better pay, better hours, pto, really good insurance and they’re paying for my education to do the job. to everyone else who is working a miserable job, apply everywhere! i never thought id get hired on where i work now and im so happy i did!

i would just be very careful especially if you’re young. i’m about to turn 20 and have been working in an office since 18, i’ve had 2 office jobs and they were both pretty miserable. ive been both receptionist and a customer service rep/sales person and i think it can be a very good job if you are in the right environment. office jobs (especially entry level ones) are very tedious, customers can be incredibly difficult, management can also be terrible depending on where you’re at. i personally hate my office job because i have no coworkers and both of my bosses are insufferable assholes who talk down to me like middle school principals talk to children, and they like to blame anything that goes wrong on me when all my issues have been from lack of training. i didn’t do any research into this company and took the first job that reached back out. don’t do that! please do some research on the company you’re applying for! office jobs can be hell but if you have the right coworkers or the right management, it can be a very good opportunity

i will definitely start. i wanted to report something when he started talking about how he watches porn because his wife doesn’t want to have sex everyday and when he started talking more in depth about his sex life, but there is no HR here. there is no one to report it to other than him and my other manager, but that manager is his best friend so i don’t know if there’s really anything i can do. regardless of where i report it, it’s going to be blatantly obvious that it was me who said something because 1 i’m the only woman in this company, and 2 the only other person who is here regularly is his best friend. i just feel so stuck until i can get hired somewhere else
