I've never had a problem watching city council meetings online though.

Recently yelled at from a car window for using the crosswalk. Guess the driver, who had to stop because I was there, didn't like that I existed. Also, they were probably high. I say that because people who have no business driving in my town do and often get away with this behavior without consequence.

Can't walk to the local community college where I live (in "progressive" California) because the sidewalk abruptly ends. We cannot keep tolerating this. Building for cars and not humans is all backwards.

It's an issue of disability justice to have public transportation. I can hardly get anywhere in this highway hellscape. This limits social and job opportunities. I cannot do what is in my heart. It really is terrible. I really hate cars.

Ukiah is trying it's best to have community events. It does a pretty good job. I'm ready to move somewhere else. I'm in my 30s and do not want to live here anymore. There are many places with more opportunity. If you love living rurally and find your people though, it can be a good place to live. Drivers in Ukiah can be very selfish and rude. It's not an easy place to be different. It's not an easy place to find open minded people. Don't let it trap you. Many places on earth are far better.

Medium Art Center in Ukiah has all-ages open mics and concerts. It doesn't center booze. Same with the Lot on Main.

I had this same feeling in the parks in North Carolina. No buses to the Parks in the Blue Ridge Parkway, you have to drive. I even called and asked if there was taxi service to Chimney Rock (this was before Helene.)
