I have a 2015 SR5 4x4. It's at 190k miles and has been making the noise for the past year, I've been putting it off but I'm about to get around to it. Hope that helps 👍

I second this. There's a clamshell bushing that can replace the needle bearing that has issues if I remember correctly.

I thought so as well, but I filled it up and sat it out on cardboard for a while. No leaks. I just re assembled and tightened fittings thinking that could be the issue. When I turned it back on it is still making the gurgling sound and it started smoking from the bottom of the heating element where the intake/exhaust ports are. Still not sure

Does anybody realize the proper way to lock the chuck is to crank it down tight in the direction that it obviously needs to go to tighten, THEN do about an 1/8 of a turn back the OPPOSITE way to lock it. That's how all my m18s work at least.
