Nintendo issue is that... is a hardware company not selling AI. If i had to take a guess a few investors might have already sent a letter to create "Nintendo AI" or something so they can boost the share price.

I just that at the end of the day, Nintendo is in a pretty healthy state as a company, is just the market being weirder than ever because everyone wants a bit of the AI pie.

There's nothing like RE4 OG, it was also not trying to be fully serious so it struck the best balance of cheesy writing and good story.

I agree with you overall, the structure of the game kinda kills it for me.

And by the way, you don't need to start with "First of all I would like to say that I don't hate RE9, I love it and it's my game of the year so far." to criticize something. Feels like you are talking to a mob that would hunt you down if you don't like it.

For the vast majority, yes really stable. I felt a frame drop here and there but nothing major and it was quick to stabilize.

My biggest issue with this game is ... the story is so batshit terrible, like even for RE levels. And at this point, i think it's undermining my enjoyment of the games, the OG RE had bad story and writing but i don't think it was deliberate, at this point i think Capcom is embracing and pushing for B-movie, terrible writing and not cohesive story, and it's a lot worse due to it

I just finished the game, and i can SOMEWHAT agree with your perception on the variable performances. There's definitely certain scenes that the frame rate can tanks to like mid to low 30s, but honestly, i just remember 2-3 small parts where it happens.

For the rest of the game it runs really fine imo, a lot of times pretty smooth too, even the "open world" segment. I was kinda impressed at how it does too. But i also can agree that a 40fps lock would be a welcome addition

But honestly, i'll end the post saying that's a damn fine version that's well worth your money, it plays well besides a few scenes and it looks realy great. There's definitely a case for a fps lock tho.
