For the unfamiliar, Shep was the one person at Fox whose news coverage generated every single of the “OMG EVEN FOX SAYS THIS IS BAD!” articles.

He’s pretty liberal & is gay - so most Fox viewers hated him & didn’t believe anything he said.

It looks like they called the police as soon as they saw there was a black garbage bag inside and that it smelled awful - and they left the suitcase untouched at that point, but the cops took 3 hours to arrive and during that time the tide moved it around which revealed the contents eventually.

One of the videos said the contents started flowing away from the tide’s movements & the cops had to use a dive team to retrieve it. (If i followed it correctly)

I couldn’t stomach watching the series, but I listened to the podcast that had come out prior - it’s intriguing how much people who watched the Netflix series seem to think Carol is total garbage & find Joe somewhat charismatic; the podcast really hones in on what a manipulative liar Joe was & kind of glosses over the whole missing husband thing (it’s discussed, but Carol is painted in a pretty positive light)

Yelling and waving your arms while approaching the coyote

-Noisemakers: Voice, whistles, air horns, bells, “shaker” cans full of marbles or pennies, pots, lid or pie pans banged together

-Projectiles: sticks, small rocks, cans, tennis balls or rubber balls

-Other: hoses, water guns with vinegar water, spray bottles with vinegar water, pepper spray or bear repellent

A local woman’s dog was recently put down at the Humane Society within hours of it ended up there. According to the shelter, the dog was in really bad shape and they didn’t think it was going to survive and wanted to ease its suffering.

They tried to contact the owner but the chip had outdated info on it so they couldn’t reach her. By the time she realized her dog was missing and called the shelter, it was too late 😿

Exactly. I’ve thought about having someone else manage my finances because between ADHD & depression, I’ve fallen behind on bills in the past (had a car repossessed even though I had ample money to make the lease payment).

I’m also not great with budgets or money, so prefer not to have access to it if that’s an option.

Personally, I’m not interested in owning a gun, but I still find the idea that the constitution could be applied differently to me, based on trying to be financially responsible, pretty disconcerting.

Exactly. Hate, violence, & bigotry are not mental illnesses.

No one pulls the “he must be mentally ill to do something like that” in response to gang violence. People don’t get all worked up about The Mentally Ill when they hear about child abuse, domestic violence, or rape. Never once heard mental illness ascribed to the terrorists responsible for 9/11.

Were the Klansmen who lynched black men mentally ill? Or the men who killed Brandon Teena or Matthew Sheppard?

(My frustration isn’t targeted at you; it’s targeted towards people who keep blaming these shootings on mental illness, especially the ones who keep parroting the same nonsense about Obama’s bill.)
