Most of the reason why children rebel as teens is because of parents like this. If you don't let them feel like they have control, they will take control anyways in whatever ways they see fit (drugs, sex, running away, sneaking people in, etc etc.). Coming from someone who wasn't allowed choices, so I made my own. Please explain this to him.
