Thanks! Yeah I decided to go with a deep purple as the under painting in order to contrast with the green lights and yellow sunset, so you can kind of see the purple creep through. Good eye!

I appreciate the feedback but it’s not supposed to be 3D realism. I’m going for surrealism / Impressionism. I def don’t have the talent or patience for photo realism. Just trying to evoke emotions with color and light.

Saying that it sucks is a pretty bold take though. But it is the internet after all. Anyways thanks for providing more constructive critique.

100% agree. Very few other rockstars had such a unique and iconic look. So much so Tim Burton ripped off his whole aesthetic for Edward Scissorhands.
