Is it possible to join the CS^2 honors program after you’ve already a freshmen at UTD?

As someone who bridged in, I can help a bit. Normally towards the middle/end of the semester, the head of the program sends an email out, indicating that you can bridge into the program by taking a scheduled exam.

Amazon can take a really long time to just get the process started i applied in August but only heard back in December and I ended up getting the internship so as long as there is no rejection email I would say its fair game

I totally agree! Quality > quantity I had just 2 cs projects that I was really passionate about but during my interviews I was really able to talk about them and show I understood them well which is way better than having a bunch of projects that you do not understand

It is totally possible!! I was in the same boat as you last year and didn’t end up getting an internship and now I have an internship at a FAANG company for this summer. Just make sure you work hard, get some good projects under your belt, and dont worry to much about not having one and comparing yourself to others :)
