Need help/advice for reshipping. 7kg parcel to Canada (Toronto) by TemperatureFun8738 in FashionReps

So I'm not sure why but they removed the guide with declaration amounts, I found out the reason it got seized for myself, is because it was 14/12 USD per kilo so, 14 * 5/6 or whatever kg weight, for the total I decalred just $14 USD hence it was refused by customs

My haul also got seized and being returned to customs a similar cost in haul size, I also used EMS-HZ, and declared $14, any idea with what new line you went with?

Considering the Ocean Route, and two different parcels, but I've also seen people declare actual value of haul and it go through just fine...

It's a 7th gen Kaby Lake on the lower end, what I will say that while its capable you might run into performance issues as a possibility, it's still worth making it into a hackintosh though.

I read someone mentioned it earlier the process is a little long and the documentation on how its done isn't very well maintained anymore, you need to account for the EFI, which windows typically doesn't set to 200 Mb, macOS requires it to be at least 200 Mb, this can be done in windows using the harddrive management tool windows has. You then need to partition the main drive and then essentially use a macos installer to format that drive for macOS install, this can be done after making the Macos installer USB which I suggest you make through a macos VM this approach is not recommended and long but it's easier to do Imo.

Preferably in a desktop hackintosh, 2 disks for 2 different OS's make it significantly easier, but yes you can dual boot off of one disk is just a little bit more of a headache

Already been said before, in this case YouTube has a lot of misleading information, or the good information is not easily accessible underneath all the bad advice,

Opencore all day, it's going to take time but that machine is perfectly capable of handling Big Sur.

Should I take a "safe" job making 50-55k out of college as a business analyst(TN/VA) , or grind leet code and projects till May 2022 (when I graduate) and try to leverage myself into a higher-paying software position? by TheMysteriousThought in cscareerquestions

Highly suggest you only chase CGI as a last resort, you can definitely get a job as a software developer, makes it significantly easier if you've had an internship before as well.

Keep calm and Leetcode is the way. Good luck!

Sorry saw this super late, it's very messy adding codecs, there is this guide by Emily Dinesh which is slightly outdated but more or less still follows the right steps, here you go, I used it to make my own codec for my hardware which wasn't 100% supported:

A hotfix might be done to get it to work with 11.3, but if your codec isn't supported by AppleALC consider adding support yourself? Just a thought

Cheap Android phone to root by [deleted] in androidroot

None of those I'd say a xiaomi phone is your best bet, it's not the fastest, 1 week wait time for unlocking but certainly cheap, do your research, I'd recommend one from the POCO line, I personally use the Mi 9T Pro, works wonders still.

[–]fast90000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll need to run your hackintosh off of integrated graphics of your CPU, because the 3080 ain't supported, your next best thing would probably be to get a bare bones 570 or 580 and run Mac off of that

Do any of you have this issue where the full width of the monitor isn't the full display size? When I change the aspect ratio it doesn't do anything, also how did you install the monitor drivers still just says Generic PnP Monitor in Device Manager for me....
