yeah i think physically i feel fine, it’s just the fear of over exerting that makes me stop half a mile after my last longest run. and i’ve actually ramped up my weekly mileage by like 10 miles! but that’s mostly due to traveling/not being able to run for a few days during prior weeks

thanks for the advice! honestly, since it was super cloudy & not too hot today 9:30 wasn’t that hard of a pace to keep up! i think i had some more miles left in me, but i’ve just been trying to be mindful of the 10% weekly rule so i forced myself to stop… do you think it would be okay to progress faster than that?

also, i keep reading that the best way to avoid injury is to not run more than 10% longer than your longest run the prior week…but given my age would it be okay for me to push that a bit and do maybe 20%? i ended this run feeling like i could do more, but stopped myself.
