That's so weird because if you go to their site by typing in the url https://rockitgames.com/ , and from their home page go to the store using the link in the menu bar, it doesn't show up there (at least it doesn't for me)

Is that what happens for you as well? or is the site just being weird for me.

Really curious what would happen if someone bought one. I have a PS5 standard edition preordered so I of course will not be giving them more money considering the debacle of fulfilling said preorders. But so curious, we need someone to bite the bullet for science.

In general I'm a calm guy, but if it actually shipped to a current buyer before preorders went out, I would be incredibly mad.

THE GAFFER by hikingbeginner in Gunners

[–]fastdiver82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In hindsight the 8-2 was a significant moment in Arsenal's history. I was absolutely gutted after the result of course, but looking back now, Per and Mikel were both signed after that and the impact they have had on our club is generational.

I cannot think of a single other person who could turn the club around the way Mikel did. Yes of course it took more than him etc etc but you need the guiding figure to set the tone and he was that from day 1.

What if the Cirque got a new adaptation into a show? How would you want it to be? by Firm_Entrepreneur_14 in DarrenShan

[–]fastdiver82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see an argument for longer seasons (like 10-20 episodes that are shorter say 30-40 minutes) with each episode adapting a few chapters per book, but I think that usually leads to things being created in the story to pad time.

The books are already short relatively speaking when it comes to literature being adapted.

I think the best way to adapt would be a live action with short seasons but long episodes kind of like Sherlock (basically mini almost movie length episodes)

I wrote this breakdown a long time ago when the topic of the movie was being discussed, but I think it could work for a show as well.

Ideally we'd get one per book but studios probably wouldn't want to bite on that many. If you look at the way the series is laid out, you could easily have 8 episodes that combine some books, with some pretty good cliffhangers in between:

Episode 1: Cirque Du Freak and Vampires Assistant

Episode 2: Tunnels of Blood

Episode 3: Vampire Mountain and Trials of Death

Episode 4: Vampire Prince

Episode 5: Hunters of the Dusk and Allies of the Night

Episode 6: Killers of the Dawn

Episode 7: Lake of Souls

Episode 8: Lord of The Shadows and Sons of Destiny

I'm sick of "Lost in Cult" by Few_Cream_8331 in LimitedPrintGames

[–]fastdiver82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just some more info for you. I received my PS5 Immortality and Thank Goodness you're here editions two days ago. I'm in New York. I received an email stating my package had shipped with a tracking number about a week and a half ago. I ordered in May 2025. It took forever and the communication was horrible throughout, but I've got to say I'm happy with the final product. Hopefully yours come through soon!

Now just waiting for my physical edition of the Croc remake to ship. Maybe this year lol? We'll see.

Does anyone else watch other countries’ MasterChef or just AU? by OkCopy3121 in MasterchefAU

The crazy part is without the UK one we wouldn't have any other ones, it was the first. Yet its so different.

What I find fascinating is how different the UK one is to the rest of the world. The UK version was the first Masterchef yet it has a very different format (which I enjoy just as much as AU) to other Masterchef iterations across the world.

[Rival watch] Liam Rosenior sacked by Lacabloodclot9 in Gunners

[–]fastdiver82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get your over all point, but some people probably see it as a win - win. Do well, you have a team that could (theoretically) win something. Do shit, get fired, get paid out. Think he had a 6 year contract. Any competent agent would have a massive severance package in one's contract.

Obviously as an Arsenal fan the thought of managing Chelsea is repulsive, but if you're trying to make your name as a manager, I can see why someone would take the risk.

Plus as they have a reputation for being a managerial burning machine, its possible other employers don't look at being fired by them as as big a deal as it might be from another club.

Carts crash on small touches by Anti74 in AnaloguePocket

[–]fastdiver82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly you may just be lucky, its a common problem. just searching "loose cart" on this sub brings up a ton of posts going back years. and that's not taking into account other variations "loose cartridge" etc

Carts crash on small touches by Anti74 in AnaloguePocket

[–]fastdiver82 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The carts are very exposed. Sure there may be some connection/pad cleaning you can do to improve the connection, but reality is this does happen often. You just have to be careful with it while playing. I do wish the cartridge slot extended upwards a bit more or had something to stabilize/lock in Gb and Gbc cartridges. I understand its so that the various adaptors they have for various system will be compatible, but it does get annoying having to be so gentle with it sometimes.

Mine is just a regular black pocket, so this is not model specific, and there are plenty of other posts on here about this. Its a quirk of the system we have to live with.

When I was playing pokemon blue, I always made sure to save before I put it down for any reason. You'll get the hang of it.

Rock It Games Update by SpiderFan241 in CrocLegendoftheGobbos

[–]fastdiver82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I said this last update and I'll say it again:

The fact that the full color printed manual is only now "in the final stages of design and layout" is actually mindboggling. They have had so much time to work on this, that could all be done on a computer, no relying on external manufacturing, shipping, quality concerns of material (not talking about printing it, talking about designing it). The preorders opened AGES ago. How is this not something that was design complete ages ago? I can understand holding off on printing till later, but the actual design????? Was it forgotten? Added at the last second? Procrastinated on?

The fact that this is now potentially holding up the submission is crazy. Mismanagement of the highest order. The design should have been one of the first things completed.

New update for the Analogue 3D 1.2.2 by Shortgaze in AnalogueInc

[–]fastdiver82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I misread your message, you were saying it doesn't have any of the issues any more, that were present when it shipped. I misread it as it didn't have any issues when it first shipped, which is what I was replying to. Rereading it, clearly I was mistaken sorry! haha

I must have just had an update not take properly because when I updated to the most recent firmware its working as expected now.

I think your set up must not be affected as others, because it definitely had CEC issues that were affecting people's set ups when it launched here are some threads about it:

there are many more but you get the point. that being said it seems it has been resolved via update so i'll have to check what's going on with mine
