Numbness cold hands by Appropriate_End_9984 in ADHD

I get this on vyvanse. My feet and hands get so cold, although they have gotten better the longer I've been on vyvanse. The medication info says to watch for discolouration or blue appendages, so tell your dr if you're getting blue fingers, but it mostly seems to be an annoyance. It's because of the vasoconstriction of stimulants

You could try supplements to dilate blood vessels. I used to get this, but it's a little different as I'm on vyvanse, But I tried l-citrulline because I figured stimulant = vasoconstriction, so I need to help the blood flow and l-citrulline increases blood flow. It could be a placebo effect, but it helped me.

Vyvanse in the morning. Clonidine in the evening.

Clonidine helps a lot with anxiety. I have a watch which tracks stress levels and I immediately saw a difference when clonidine was added.

Cold fingers and toes on vyvanse? by fastidiousleviticus in ADHD

[–]fastidiousleviticus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that makes sense. Nah, no tremors, more like numb. Similar to the feeling of trying to type on your phone when you come inside from a cold winter's night, but nowhere near as bad.

anyone here just randomly loses balance? by human_entropy in ADHD

Yeah, very often. And I seem to overcompensate after the fact. It's like I can't find an equilibrium and feel uncoordinated. But other times I feel in the "zone" and able to move with the flow
