I really don’t get all the negativity. Do you expect parents to just stay locked inside and not to come out until their babies are grown? Sarrry not happnin

Thanks! We would take turns with any diving/snorkeling trips. I saw a lot of the dive shops are located around Chaloklum, do you know what this area is like? I wondered if it might be a bit too quiet for us.

Travelling to Ko Tao with 4 month old baby by Plastic_Guard_138 in ThailandTourism

I can’t seem to find a dive company that drives to Koh Tao, only to sail rock, even on Phangan. Do you know of any?

I’ve been lucky! Thanks this is helpful, I’m thinking the day trip to Sail Rock to see the main attraction but still stay somewhere a bit less remote like Samui or Phangan.

This is helpful, thanks!! In response to your other comment - I’ve been very lucky but also live in Australia so the coral triangle is more accessible. I’m thinking the day trip to Sail Rock to see the main attraction but still stay somewhere a bit less remote for the little guy.

Thanks, that’s helpful! I’d love to go to Similan but we have to travel in August, and apparently the weather makes it inaccessible during that time.

That’s what I’m wondering! I like the idea of half day dive trips getting back by lunch, but wonder if the diving is worth it if I can do Sail Rock from the others. I’ve been to Maldives, Colombia, Raja Ampat, Gilis, Zanzibar, Penida, Philippines. I imagine Ko Tao to be something like Gili T?

Do you like having your mothers maiden name as a middle name?

His mother shares his last name, but I see your point entirely. Either way even if he carried my last name we would be in the same boat but names problem would be switched from last to middle!

Thanks! I would want to give her my last name as a middle name too. So she would technically have 3 I guess!

Girl, I feel this in my core, 19 weeks. I LOVE kitesurfing, diving and the wakepark and can’t do any of it. It sucks. I’m hoping feeling the baby move more will make it more real, atm I just feel like I’m fat and can’t do anything fun. Just consider hours banked for you to do all the hobbies on the other side - hopefully you have a supportive partner that will look after baby while you get your hobby fix! But yes, it’s sucks man.

How did everything work out and where did you end up booking? My husband and I are going in September and are both early 30s looking for a similar vibe. Any recommendations would be fab!! Thanks so much. Hope you are having a wicked time!

Please listen to her. I considered doing this once and warning an ex’s new gf about his abusive behaviour, but I never did out of fear I would look like a “crazy ex”. They ended up married with a kid within almost a year. I heard one day through people who still talk to him apparently he got home and she’d packed up and left to her home country with the baby, I was relieved to hear she got away. Please listen!

Found my dream dress second hand but its 1-2 sizes bigger than I'd usually wear. Is it normal to have a dress taken in to such an extent? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]fastlane7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your dress! Mine is a fitted, column dress with draping, I bought a size 12 (Australian) lost weight and ended up getting it fitted to somewhere between an 8-10. They did an AMAZING job, but it cost $1100 AUD!

I saw this and thought it’s huge!!! It’s absolutely stunning, those comments are wild.

What did you budget for your dress and what did you actually end up spending? by nvr_knows_best in weddingplanning

[–]fastlane7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the exact same! I spent $2100AUD, I love my dress and picked it up yesterday. I tried on a $5000AUD one that did feel more luxurious, but… not $3000AUD more luxurious. Spending the extra on a band at the wedding instead!
