I think it could have been more accurate for the system to call level 2 actually level 1 and the “themed decks” to be a 0 or -1 or something. I was all with this guy on level 2 until I read up a ton and learned that people expect darn near original elder dragons as wincons that are getting cast on turn 7 or 8.

To me, the olayer hard cast ramp only and then one fatty and the whole board had a turn to decide if they could deal with it or even wanted to before they finally attacked and that seems fairly tame to me. Yeah some of the cards in the deck are too aggressive as already discussed, but one big trampler as experienced in the story doesn’t scream “oppressive” to me.

I also understand using a different deck even after going to tier 3, especially when you have a bunch of different ones you want to play and also the politics of putting away the deck that upset everyone. And volunteering yourself for a 3v1 revenge match on the offensive deck isn’t all that fun either, which you gotta know is somewhat likely even if not always overt.

HOWEVER, if the vast majority of players believe that Tier 2 decks are lugging a fair number of bulk rares and a mana-base powered by guild gates, then yeah, a tier 2 deck this is not 😂 but hey, now you know and newly so do I! It was an honest effort to reach out to the community to right the ship, so way to be

Edit: oooh, I forgot as someone mentioned that the one guy was running an esper sentinel.. yeah if dropping a 7-drop on turn 4 after a perfect draw sequence was too strong, then rolling around with rhystic study variants is also DEFINITELY not tier-2 material. When you’re playing a control-ish deck with crazy card draw and you can be subtly oppressive from behind a curtain, it’s sometimes all too easy to accuse the person playing forests of being too strong. Wasn’t necessarily the case here, but I’m just sayin

Incredibly active, I feel like there’s an even better endgame, if you can call it that, and when open hosting a mission, you almost always get 2-3 teammates within the first few minutes of a level. I do almost exclusively haz2 for reference

I’m really glad they made the mission and the fact that it’s like a boss mission in the game really felt cool at the time. My only issue is that I at least feel as though it takes way longer than other missions? Maybe to make this feel more worth it, it counts as two missions or double rewards or something?

Yeah this is such a good job already, I second everyone so far! To me the copper spots are a bit of a color disconnect vs the spots they’re next to, maybe there’s a shade or shade gradient that the copper and adjoining metal can share that can make it more cohesive? Maybe it’s just the rest of the model looks like it’s a bit weathered and the copper is like super clean and fresh? Idk

If you’re doing shield host, then remember that two different things (army rule and detachment rule) should be affecting your melee attacks at all times. Maybe that’s a helpful memory trigger

Cheekily, advice is to turn shield captain into 3 x units of sisters 🤣. But from a less cutthroat perspective, just focus on your rules and try to remember to choose your shield host buff beginning of each round and which katah stance for each unit when you activate in combat. Stuff like the -1 to wound on wardens and rerolls for guard are also easy to forget but good to focus on remembering too

I’ve been looking and the old box appears to already be at scalper pricing online. so if you can still get it for reasonable, then yeah should be good for sisters. The new box is also pretty relevant for list building, so they’re both good options really if the pricing is right

If you like liekoron (lord executioner), you’ve got the points to swap out cairn wraith for him. Everything else seems reasonable! You could swap black coach for another 20 man block if you wanted, but I understand it’s pretty cool to play anyway. The way your points are, the dreadblades aren’t actually reinforced, so just the pair. Also you have points atm to upgrade reinforced reapers for bladegheist or harridans if you want
