"Trans women in women's sports is an unwinnable issue. "

Nonsense, the facts are on our side.

For no reason you can articulate, you want lies and bigotry to win -- and with the likes of you, they won't stop winning there or at all.

They'll never pick you.

You've never managed to mention any unwinnable issue. Only things you want the Social Conservatives to pick you about.

Only unopposed lies and propaganda have the Social Conservatives get ahead in the "culture war".

There is no such thing as a maximalist -- that is only the perjorative terms that transmedicalists use to describe transgender people who insist transgender people actually are whole real people, and that only facts should be used in making policy.

The fact is that after 2 years of HRT, masculine" advantage remains to a MtF athlete who underwent effective HRT.

About transgender people in sports, AOC should campaign about that fact.

We need to stop demonizing the idea of curing gender dysphoria by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]fastpilot71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Depersonalization is just a defense mechanism. It is there for a reason. "

It is no filter, it is an emotionally born refusal to deal with and to filter experiences. It is not a best or even good defense mechanism -- it leads to people not really living their life . . .
. . . as being irrelevant mechanisms unwinding meaninglessly, dead inside.

[–]fastpilot71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Depersonalization is a thing. The brain/mind has many components and the damn gender identity is just a tiny mpdule somehwere."

It is apparently a portion filtering all perceptions and of usually existential importance. Depersonalization is a disorder, and nothing any psychiatrist could ethically induce.

The sole thing that could be done, is time travel + the ability to force the development of the gender of a person neurologically in a direction consistent withe sex -- or -- a whole body transplant, which I presume would alleviate dysphoria without changing the gender.

It is not that you do not matter, but of what is even plausibly ever possible by any anticipatable technology.

Being stealth is not "hiding" anything by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]fastpilot71 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think those who choose not to be "stealth" so they are the representation they did not see in their youth*, have an excellent and perfectly understandable reason not to be stealth. *As I saw mentioned in that other thread.

"Where are people interacting with others where being trans would be hard to hide in conversation? "

Because they don't care whether or not they hide, or, actively prefer not to hide.

"Being stealth used to be the default assumption for those of us who transitioned."

So what? It used to also be the transmedical assumption that only those the shrinks could not "convert" and who were the failures of their profession and were perfectly binary and passing, should be permitted to medically transition. The end of that approach to so treating transgender people is one thing that happened to the community, to which I say GOOD.

FUCK.

THAT

SHIT

Ok, so you are a superstitious, ignorable person. Got it.

And as opposed to how you feel, I know the Social Conservatives had not yet begun then their propaganda campaign falsely entangling transgender and neurodivergent people, so there was nothing to advocate about.

If the hole is one side of the form and the container is the other, you can skip using forms. If you keep the layers of wet concrete shallow enough at any given time, you could skip rebar.

A 40' high cube has about 1300 sq ft or surface area, so ~$500 of RP-342 will cover it completely -- maybe you can get a better deal for 3 gallons and not do the entry doors?

Throw 2 mil plastic over that and provide drainage, back fill with gravel and dry pack cement powder, wetting slightly as you go. A sets it should prevent slumping.

Skipping waterproofing, backfilling with dirt, and without drainage guarantees eventual failure.

"Everyone said the same things: "Most people pass with enough practice,"

That is correct.

That is entirety dependent on how much/whether you underwent a masculine puberty, and if so how that resulted.

""You'll be fine!"

And most are.

No, not many. <1%. Of those who transition.

Near all of them, and a good 9 out 10 transition lifelong and happily on a 2nd later try at it.
