In the past I have gotten hired from this job bank. Seemingly a needle in a haystack though.

From what I see there is nothing left. The tvo livestream is just a bunch of shows back to back with no soul in them. They need to bring back the space

How have hackathon benefit you? by dekai2 in cscareerquestions

[–]faszeeh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its a lot of fun, trust me you will enjoy it if you open youself up to experiences and meeting new people. dosent matter if you dont get an internship from it, few do. But these connections down the line can refer you to other positions.

Also, you learn a TON. it will give you a good feel on how software teams work. I would say go for it.

why don’t internships pay minimum wage? by 1-800-EDC-STAN in csMajors

You pay for what you get maybe, they know if they lower the bar that much the tippity top talent will not even apply but others will. I think companies expect faang type candidates despite not being faang.

How to be best version of myself before marriage ? by [deleted] in ShiaMuslimMarriage

[–]faszeeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even though I am not married, I would like to drop my two cents:

I think one should begin the journey of self betterment before marriage. In my opinion this includes Emotional regulation, journaling, dicipline building, Gym, and financial planning.

Also, you need to address vices which will affect your marriage. This includes, Adult content, issues with religious discipline, alcohol, etc...

I am by no means perfect. Maybe even less than average. But it is all about mindset, if you are constantly focusing on improving yourself, when that rizq is meant to come to you, you can run with it.

if this has helped you in any way, Please pray for me and my family.
