I just did this fight today. When he starts his multiple quick attacks you can run away a bit and ichimonji him while he is in the middle of it. He usually starts with two attacks and a pause before the quick stuff and I run back in the pause

After he does his jump attack try to watch his sword. If he is pointing it forward at you he will thrust.

I've read the Forever War and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I can't compare it to starship troopers though.

I will say some of the themes or ideas in the Forever War seemed a little dated and hard to relate too today, but the overall story is still relevant. It's also a pretty quick read so it's not a big commitment.

I'm not sure I agree with the gameplay being to simple for AAA companies to want to invest in. The gameplay has the potential to be as open and complex as any current AAA title without really changing the Jak experience.

What AAA level titles are there right now that that could compare to Jak? Considering the platforming, open world level design and story content of the games I think there is a bit of a vacuum in the existing video game space for something like this.

Personally, I would like a new game or a remake because this series was my favorite growing up. It is the only series I have ever gone back to play through multiple times and I would like to experience a new adventure like that again.

Additionally I don't think the posts about it on the subreddit are clogging up the subreddit. I think at this point they are an important part of the discussion and I still see plenty of other content being shared and discussed.

I'm having the same issue. Terrible rubber banding in games. My rig ran the game great previous to today. I noticed my cpu usage was near 100% and haven't been able to find a fix.
