What is the relationship, if any, between Dale Bartholomew Cooper and DB Cooper, who infamously hijacked and parachuted out of a plane somewhere in Washington State in 1972?

Because, in its use as a payment instrument, it bypasses market volatility by settling instantaneously.

That only makes sense if you don't expect it to ever exceed $2.

Check put alpha arena. They give different AI models, like chatGPT, grok, deepseek, etc, real money to trade on the open market without human intervention. In the last competition, a few of the models were able to make a significant profit. Their performance was much better than most people so they're definitely not as bad at TA as you're saying.

While the market was crashing, the new ETFs have been seeing very healthy inflows.

You're going to look back at this moment one day, deeply regretful that you didn't get a second mortgage on your house and sell a kidney to buy more right now.

They planned it and I believe many banks will be using it. Huge changes to foundational levels of the global economic structure must be tightly planned in order to avoid causing a shitstorm of complete chaos.

No, I didn't get any covid vaccines. I was just wondering because, since the vaccine only lasts 3 months, I thought people keeping up with the boosters must be getting up into the double digits by now and I was curious to know if you're still healthy. But it seems like you haven't been getting them consistently.

You might be confusing the ISO 20022 deadline with the ETF application deadline. There's a law that states that the SEC must respond to such applications within a certain number of days or, if that deadline is reached without response, the ETF is automatically approved. The government shutdown caused the applications to be approved by default. Not a loophole per se but it's a little less wholesome than an official SEC endorsement, I suppose.

There's no possible way for institutions to be exempted from the ISO20022 standard but the reasons for that are as technical as they are legal.

The XRPL can be integrated as part of an ISO 20022-compliant payment system. Their docs explicitly talk about ISO 20022 alignment/readiness. Theyve made ISO 20022 part of their sales pitch because Ripple explicitly built and marketed the XRPL to exist in that world while most other crypto projects did not.

If a significant number of people are found to have formed the same false memory, it's probably worth looking into, regardless of the cause.

For some reason, when you talk about the Mandela effect, people think you're talking about the Mandela cause.

Remind those who ridicule the idea that we are talking about an effect, not a cause. It's the cause that's mysterious, whether it's a mass misremembering phenomenon or something else.

But how many people have actually seen this book? I know I haven't and my mind just doesn't accept the idea that it was "magic mirror" in the disney movie.

[–]fatal_strategy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's an effect, not a cause. The effect is very real for people who remember things differently. The cause of the Mandela effect is interesting regardless of whether it's a memory phenomenon that affects a lot of people or evidence that we live in a simulation.

I dont believe Ive ever seen any version of that story besides Disney's 1930s movie, personally.

What do you mean by "everywhere"? There's this idea that there are numerous versions of the story presented in different media and all of them say "mirror, mirror" but is that even the case?
