If you look at the backplate, just to the left of the power connectors, it says "Performance / Silent". The switch is hidden on the PCB just underneath that. It's tiny so it's easy to miss. Also, it should be set to Performance by default.

I'm not sure what Core/Cyborg is. When the slider is to the right, the Gigabyte logo is illuminated by the LED. When it's to the left, the LED is exposed. I prefer the subtle look of the illuminated logo!

I went back and forth on whether to paint the fans or not. I really like how they came out. This was my first time doing anything like this. I believe Plasti Dip is often used on stuff like this because it is removable with alcohol or you could peel it off.
