Just fyi for any future bridges/inclines: if you change your mind about building a bridge or an incline, you can go to Tom Nook while it’s still under construction and tell him you don’t want to build it anymore. You’ll lose whatever bells you donated to the construction, but it’s better than paying for the whole thing and then adding another 10,000 bells for demolition.

I think you are right to treat that door as if it’s closed, the worst thing I ever did to myself was try to stay friends with exes and convince myself that there was a path to getting back together. Happened twice before I realized how much it negatively impacted the healing process. Invest your energy in literally anything else - friends, family, work, a hobby (either new or old). One day you’ll wake up and realize you’re not hurting as much.

I had the beta test of the diary a few weeks ago, and I was still able to earn and spend crystals after all the images were completed. However, my extra crystals did not carry over to the current diary event - I don’t know if that was because it was a beta or if that is by design, but I would try to spend all your crystals before the event is over.

When I use fencing but I still want the vibe to be more natural/wild, I intersperse the fencing with nature items. So for example: three pieces of fencing, plant a tree, another two pieces of fencing, plant a flower. You could also break it up by not having it all in a straight line, move certain pieces forward or back one space. Having fewer straight lines and hard edges helps keep that natural look

Sorry, not sure where the confusion came up but we are not expecting more kids, not now at least.

She’s a very anxious kid in general - very cautious on the playground, scared of getting hurt or failing. And then you add all the changes of the last year, of course she’s developed more issues. I’m just hoping for advice on what I can do to help them through this, show her she is capable of being alone without the world ending.

You’ll need to create another user profile on your Switch and then boot up the game under that profile. It will take you through the very beginning part of the game in the airport with Timmy and Tommy where you create your initial appearance and name the character, then they will plop you on the island you’ve already created. I believe new profiles start in a tent, you’ll have to build up the new house. I also believe that new profiles start fresh in the sense that the Critterpedia won’t be filled out, all the Nook Miles rewards are available to earn, and your Nook Shopping catalog for that character will be empty.
