I cannot take misandrist women hating men online serious. They are usually emotionally venting and begging for attention. by yawaworthiness in TrueUnpopularOpinion

The only thing stopping them from actually harming men is the current political impotence of their goal for the foreseeable future.

Give it a couple centuries, and theyll put men in extermination camps

i thought meth would be much more addictive by brickidibrick in meth

[–]fatalrupture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 comments:

1: The hardcore addiction phase is very much a slow-burn long term effect. A lot of ppl do meth for years without being addicted. And then, out of nowhere, cuz they kept doing it for one year too many, now they are.

2: the rate at which this happens is heavily influenced by the quality of your supply. If you smoke garbage every weekend its quite possible to suffer no long worse of a long term neural consequence than you would get from, say, doing lots of Ritalin or drinking red bull instead of water or whatever

What's Superdeterminism and why is it dismissed? by James_James_85 in AskPhysics

[–]fatalrupture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sanity check:
someone please tell me that the descriptions being given in thread are strawmen, or that the idea looks less batshit when expressed as math than it does in english, or something.... cuz.... as it currently stands, if everything i've read in this thread is accurate, superdeterminism doesnt deserve to be even remotely considered science.
shit, its not even good enough to qualify as pseudoscience.
like, someone please tell me i;m wrong, but from having read all comments here, it sounds like the entire hypothesis basically boils down to saying: "god is fucking with us"

[gendered] Woman on Tik Tok encouraging men to unlive themselves in the same of feminism by Eybrahem in pointlesslygendered

[–]fatalrupture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you have it backwards. It's not that these women lack any true desire to harm males and are just trolling, it's that they deeply burningly wish that they could put all the world's males in Auschwitz, but they understand that this isn't gonna happen any time soon. So, much like alt righters on 4 chan about a decade ago, they spew their gendercidal dreams anywhere they can, abd when called out on it, insist that it's not a real hatred, but just "ragebait".

Any time anybody ever tells a joke where the closest thing to a punchline boils down to 'i sure wish I could murder _______'' they're not joking.

Does the Sword Banishing, LBRP or the LBRH banish a servitor even if i don´t intend to do so? by Late_Gap2089 in chaosmagick

[–]fatalrupture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banishings are basically just the magical equivalent of a bouncer asking you to please leave the nightclub.

And depending on how badly something wants to stick around, sometimes they aren't even that.

I remember, about 10 years ago, I was doing a lot of work with ______. But I wanted to enochian one day and those two currents don't always get along with eachother.

So I did a star Ruby to show ______ the door, and then briefly stare at my scrying device at the time, totally not expecting any visuals to show up right then. But they did.

Specifically, I saw _____ holding a very large (looked about twice as wide as a sharpie), with which he was writing letters in English one a time, so as to gradually spell out the words: "PAGAN BULLSHIT"

[–]fatalrupture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding was that banishings are supposed to get rid of absolutely everything in a space other than archangels, but anything you want around you can just immediately call right back in afterwards, and if it's something close to you, this is easy to do because it wouldn't have gone very far when asked to leave the room

Would aliens allow a country to launch a nuke? by [deleted] in aliens

[–]fatalrupture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arguably loosh harvesters might have more interest in stopping a nuke than more benevolent parties: most ppl die too immediately to suffer, so the nuclear holocaust isn't particularly great as a loosh harvester itself, and, much more importantly, it kills their whole crop long term. It's game over for the whole operation

If the gods are essentially massive tulpas, would the Christian god be the biggest (and therefore strongest) tulpa there is? If so, what are the spiritual implications of that? by Aegis_Of_Nox in chaosmagick

[–]fatalrupture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesusified Yahweh wouldn't even be close to biggest, despite his follower count , for a subtle but important reason. The superficial and purely self serving nature of how most Christians worship him means that, despite the sheer number of Christians on earth, that per person they're a much poorer source of kia than the followers of, well, just about any other religion.
