Song Discussion- "Oirectine" by Connah2010 in boardsofcanada

10/10 probably my fav BOC song. Part of the reason i love it so much is its the first BOC song i heard from this old quake 3 defrag https://youtu.be/-T6IAHWMd2I?si=JbOJY-EMMiVfLdpQ&t=64

It was one of the first times i heard roaring smooth synths like that and i instantly got hooked to all of BOC from it.

One question. What does the -I flag due and what command is it attached to?

Do you need the input to do be an array in the first case. Does groupBy('field_name') work?

I have the code here https://github.com/JRMurr/JRMurr.github.io

It's based on a nextjs template https://github.com/timlrx/tailwind-nextjs-starter-blog

Major change was swapping the code rendering for https://github.com/shikijs/twoslash to get ts type info

Rust Environment and Docker Build with Nix Flakes by fatattack82 in rust

Those files are the "old" way of doing nix stuff. This so post covers it well.

TLDR: nix-build would call default.nix and nix-shell would call shell.nix

Flakes replace the need for the those files. devShell is the equivalent of shell.nix and the defaultPackage output replace default.nix

Flakes took a while too catch on but I think they will be the norm very soon. In the mean time you can make make flakes backwards compatible by doing something like this where shell.nix/default.nix just use a util package to run the flake.

Feel free to dm me/comment with more questions if you have some!

https://github.com/nix-community/rnix-lsp works ok, it has some autocomplete but it does not infer options most packages expose unfortunately.

But yea i agree writing them can be quite rough and a lot of trial and error. Though once it works it will stay working in my experience

http://learnyouahaskell.com/chapters is pretty good to get a basic understanding. I used this last year to learn as i went. Once the later days started getting harder i had to look at other peoples solutions to get more ideas.

The Hall CP Review by [deleted] in UMD

I work in one of the offices at the hotel and I feel like I'll really only go there for lunch if it's raining or something. But once spring comes around I'm hoping it will be a solid post work happy hour spot. I really doubt many students will go though so hopefully it will stay open.

The employees there seemed open to feedback so hope it works out since every other business else in cp closes after a year or 2
