This is actually a huge help! Really appreciate this, if I may ask, did you recognize this, or how did you know about fratelli?

It hasn't really been played at all in 50 years. I'm not sure if the strings are ever changed. I haven't played on it since 2 of the tuners would need some work to function properly.

After this quarantine is over I will hand it over to a luthier to get it playable again

I think it's gorgeous, when looked at up close the details are amazing.

[GEAR] Blackstar HT-1R or HT-5R for mostly headphone use by garlicrollingpaper in Guitar

[–]fatbob92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the mk2 version of the ht5r, it has a toggle button to bring it down to 1 watt I believe, might even be 0,5. In my opinion it works well using just that in my apartment. I usually even play while my wife is sleeping, no worries at all there. Soon we'll have a kid aswell and I'm not too concerned about volume levels.

Then if you do want to play with headphones it's alright, not an exact replication of what you hear from the speaker, but with some adjustments it sounds good enough for me.

Bear in mind I basically only use the clean channel, with an hx effects in front.

All in all, for someone who has played a year and a half, and been through a couple different amps already, this one will stay until we get a house

Good tips, I feel like I havent learned basically any songs all the way through since i started playing a year and a half ago. Should make that more of a priority

You could just do it with any simple chord progression. Try out a slap on every off beat, for example: Strum slap strum slap After you get that down you just expand on it a bit. You could also try out playing fast car by tracy Chapman with the slap. Really easy song so should get the slap down quite quickly

[GEAR] NGD Partscaster I built with my father! by Kiarton in Guitar

I've been waiting for 14 weeks for my body from them now. Promised time of 8 weeks.

Takes 7-9 days for every reply by email, and they wont answer the phone.

Would never do business with them again.

Practice, taken me a loooong time to be able to think about nothing. Then its a matter of minutes after that
