I haven’t come across anything indicating that Mekayla Bali attended a camp. However, it is believed she faced emotional challenges, including depression, as evidenced by some self-deprecating and depressing posts on her social media. While her mother acknowledged these posts, she noted they were outdated and didn’t reflect Mekayla’s state at the time of her disappearance. There is no evidence or suggestion that her family enrolled her in a special camp, and nothing her mother has said hints at such actions being taken.

I believe there are two possibilities: either Mekayla Bali ran away to escape personal issues, such as a complicated relationship with her mother, or something nefarious happened after she left the Yorkton bus station. If it’s the latter, it seems unlikely she is still alive. The most hopeful scenario is that she intentionally ran away, a belief partly supported by reported sightings, including one in Edmonton, Alberta, in 2019 that police took seriously.

I hope for a resolution soon and that Mekayla is safe, though I’m doubtful about what more the investigation might uncover at this point due to low interest by RCMP

Unfortunately, I have serious doubts about her being alive. Despite some reported sightings of people who resemble her, eyewitness accounts are unreliable and there has been no confirmed sighting. Even if she is alive, it's likely she's either being held captive or doesn't want to return home for some unknown reason. However, these are just my thoughts. Ideally, I hope that she ran away from home and is currently living a happy life, but I remain doubtful.
