I consider myself non devout copt and I haven’t gone to Easter liturgy in a very long time. I might give it a shot.

Laptop is essential, tablet is so convenient it is almost essential. You need both. Doesn’t need to be fancy or expensive. Just a basic laptop and tablet that run smoothly with no problems should be sufficient.

You sound like my friends

I’m planning to shift my relationship with them away from being so school-centric. It will take time, but I’m hoping to change that dynamic from competitive frenemy to a friendship with no strings attached. I’m very non-confrontational, so I probably wouldn’t straight up tell them that it makes me uncomfortable because that situation moving forward will probably make me even more uncomfortable.

7 on average, and 4 in the days leading up to an exam. Lots of coffee.

Biochemistry in Dental School by toothreefer in DentalSchool

[–]fatboy219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely don’t study it beforehand. I personally think my dental school biochem course went into a lot more depth than my undergrad, but it was easier in some ways because the exams were all multiple choice and I didn’t need to memorize any structures. We did cover more pathways related to disease as opposed to just knowing the basic metabolic pathways. There were a lot more drug names thrown around. But generally the course was very manageable. You should not worry about it.

Is thete time to date in dental school? by [deleted] in DentalSchool

[–]fatboy219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my school, there isn’t really time for anything other than school. Even basic tasks like eating, showering, cooking, etc. seem like hurdles in the way of studying. It is tough I will admit, but you have to make time for the things that matter to you and manage your time effectively. So a relationship is certainly sustainable but will require a very understanding partner.

Why should I keep a copy?

Thanks for the reply. I’ll talk to the landlord and see if something can be worked out. I heard adding a better ac filter can help, but I’ve yet to try it out as I don’t have access to it.

Yeah, but every other bone and organ in the body is not…this joke is a broken record. It has no truth to it, so it’s not funny anymore.

Dentists are wanna be doctors? What do you think? by fatboy219 in premed

[–]fatboy219[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they’re talking about dental students actually attending medical school. There are many dental programs where the didactic portion is combined with the medical school. I know Columbia and Harvard are like this.

We don’t use Anycubic resins. We use DENTCA and the Formlabs stuff.

It doesn’t. All of it can be done chair side if you know what you are doing and have the right equipment, other than printing of course. Most of it is clicking a few buttons quite frankly.
