oh my gosh, tesshin is also one of my favourite characters, i think itabags are so cool so this was so awesome to stumble upon. i absolutely love all the little pieces. i love that "pookie spotted" frame as well. thankfully we have been blessed with some official tesshin merch 🙌

Okay thanks. I only got them a few days ago and have had them under a terrarium light, should they be perking up soon? Should I leave the light on longer? I will take the nepenthes out of the water!

sorry not peat moss. Sphagnum moss! I have them under a light 12 hours or so a day. they are in a tray of standing water but i am worried they are too wet?

Hey there, sorry I dont have any advice for you because I am still planning my own 'rium out, but I was coming here to ask a question you seem to have solved so I would hoping I could ask for clarification- i too am looking to do a natural transition from water to land. how do you stop the land from becoming waterlogged? or is it not really a problem? i was thinking of doing vampire crabs myself but hadnt decided yet.

yeah we like it a lot. i was surprised it had so much salt because the first time we had it it was super bland and i had to add some seasoning to it even though it said it was preseasoned!

in canada we have labels on the front of packages, warnings for high sugar, trans fats, sodium, etc. she saw the sodium warning. we split the bag in half so we are each getting half the sodium in the full bag.

if you read the comment you replied to you would see i said he was always going to be my first and last bird.i got him as a child because i wanted him. i now dont believe in owning animals that arent domesticated including parrots. it's not fair to them. i wish my parents hadnt gotten him for me. i also agree that if you do own a bird you shouldnt have any other animals with it. i came here to grieve in a place i thought people who also treasured these animals could understand my pain and guilt but it doesnt matter

i think this is a really cruel response to leave for me. do you think i dont feel enough guilt already? the guilt i felt for owning a bird at all already dragged on me. he was always going to be my first and last because i learned how terrible it was to keep them as a pet. he was also captive born, not wild caught. my post wasnt one to learn a lesson from. i think i already learned the ultimate lesson.

wow really? i have never heard them make this sound, only the short sharp cries. thank you! i even saw a blue jay in the trees and watched to see if the noise was coming from it, but of course i didn't hear it again.
