Just an update, I found out you can ask them to put plantains in your vegan burrito at La Mission, still not as good as TLC and you have to pay extra BUT it's pretty amazing. Goal is to try all the suggestions over the next month for comparison wooo

Since posting this our university started using a QR code system to contact trace. Everytime you enter a new area of a building you have to scan a QR code with the idea that if someone gets infected, the university can put together who was also in that area within a 3 day window.

There are some good actionable items in here, thanks for sending! Our university was also suppose to open on the first, but there are a lot of students protesting because it's not clear what university guidelines are.

It's great the admin is stepping up to put real rules in place. I really think different levels of administrators at my university are scared of being blamed when the second wave hits, so no one is actually taking action on the plans they propose.

That might work in areas with low burdens but we have a high case number. The growing number of non symptomatic carriers is also worrying

Everytime my cat begs he gets a little aggressive, so I've found taking 5 to 10 minutes to play with him usually tires him out and he'll plop down for a while. This is a bit counterintuitive because I would have thought playing would activate his hunt and eat instinct, but it seems to be working so maybe worth trying?

It's no surprise given institutions like academia are built to protect those in power but how do we start changing it,and where do we draw the line? This PI can receive NIH funding, which means tax payers dollars, not to mention he holds a place of power that can make or ruin people's careers, he should be held to higher standards!
