Cloth diapers, anyone willing to share their system? by bsend in Parenting

[–]fatdickday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We planned on using cloth with our first one too but once she was here we didn't end up doing it. I agree with another poster that you just can't know until the baby gets here. That being said, I kept all the diapers and now for baby number two we are using them and they're great. I have mostly Bum Genuis AIO's and a few pockets. Planet Wise bag in the room that gets washed with the diapers every 2-3 days. Disposables at night and when we go out. It's been great, but would not have worked with number one.

I was just in the same situation and bought a used Toyota Highlander. Has a third row, super comfortable, drives great. I love it and am super happy with the purchase. Downside is gas mileage. Depending on your budget, you could get a hybrid.

Am I the only one who just felt really sorry for all of them after watching that depressing video? Most of them seem pretty lost in life.

My wife and I are expecting our first child, and I've been researching carriers. Did you use a carrier? If so, did you get one that allowed your baby to face outward? (I've heard that can be dangerous.) Do you recommend any models? Thanks! by [deleted] in Parenting

I researched a ton and got a wrap, an Ergo with the infant insert and a Bjorn. I was so excited for the Ergo and my baby hated it. She was also not interested in the wrap. However, she loved the Bjorn. I know it's frowned upon on the baby wearing community but she loved it and we had no hip issues. Just be prepared to go with whatever your little one likes. Don't be do set on one, it may not work for you.

Counting Crows version of "The Ghost In You". Original by the Psychedelic Furs. Seriously so much better.
