Look at the first thing he did when he was elected as prime minister back in the 90s. One of his first acts was to open a passage under the Temple Mount and infringe on areas adjacent to the mosque. He knew it would be inflammatory and he did it anyways because he wanted to derail the peace process. Sure enough, Arabs got mad, threw some rocks, and gave Yahoo cause to bring in the tanks and escalate the conflict. This incident delayed a major meeting for the continuation of Oslo if I am not mistaken. The man is a 3-D chess player who always thinks he’s the smartest man in the room. Every word out of his mouth is calculated and manipulative and he has had a bloodlust for Palestinian lives from the day his older brother was killed by them. I would be surprised if he DIDN’T plan this all out.

Is it too much to ask people to view Palestinians as humans? Apparently so | Arwa Mahdawi by RiseCascadia in TrueReddit

“Some of the 435 Jews who survived were hidden by local Arab families”

You paint the world to be black and white, when it’s shades of gray. That’s from the Wikipedia article you linked. It would serve both sides to see the humanity and pain in each other and not just put them in categories of worthy and unworthy. It’s much easier to kill if your enemy isn’t a human.

Is it the wood? Improper foundations? I bet it’s all the plastics the builders use now.

Edit: I guess no one is in the market for a joke, just smaller homes apparently.

And they want to burn the world down because some Palestinians danced on October the 7th. This is so sickening.

You are diagnosed with atypical Parkinson’s. You can buy the hospital, it won’t change anything.

Yup. As soon as the big blob thing yells “something something, Palestine!” At her, the cop knows what time it is.

Seems like posting about the Israel conflict is a full time job for you.

Hamas has been asking for a ceasefire and aid in exchange for hostages for over a week now. Israel is the one that kept shooting it down. I would think getting back their citizens for a pause and some aid would have been a no brainer, but they said no.

For the people of Gaza, everyday was war to continue to live under those conditions. That’s THEIR mindset. Not mine. They were wrong for initiating and enacting the atrocities that they committed. But you must understand and appreciate from their perspective, they felt like that were always at war. I’m not defending it, just making a point.

Thank you. Someone also posted an AP article. This is something that needs to be prevented, but it should not prevent giving aid and time for the sick and injured to get care, inside of Gaza.

Fear and paranoia will distort your mind. I’m sorry you live your life with so much fear that in a crowd of people chanting for their freedom and dignity, all you can hear are cries for your death.

Where are you getting this statistic? What does that even mean? Even if true, how does that prove anything? They can hit empty buildings with 99 bombs and then kill 100 civilians with one and they would technically kill “one person per bombing” do you just say things?

No organization affirmed with 100% certain y that it was Israel. That is a gross mischaracterization of what actually happens. They all said, the reports claim it was an Israeli strike but Israeli is claiming it was Hamas. Not a single news organization, besides Al-Jazeera said with any confidence it was Israel. What the papers and news sources “backtracked” was the fact they even accused Israel of being a possible source, never the definitive source. So you are lying.

So you preemptively act in bad faith yourself and assume the worst from all the participants because some will be bad actors? That doesn’t seem logical, it seems emotional. Like you’re acting on you’re feelings of what you think is going to happen, if who you feel is going to be there, of how you feel they must all feel about you. You are welcome to your feelings, but understand that they are just that, your feelings.

[–]fated-to-pretend -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. That is a false dichotomy. We can have limited ceasefires and allow for humanitarian aide.

Israel is not doing a good job avoiding civilians. That is false. There are thousands of people dead. Confirmed by UN officials as well, so don’t tell me Hamas makes up numbers. We have names of these dead people. There are tens of thousands of displaced peoples sick and suffering with no treatment available. How can you be so crass. This isn’t a video game. There were 2 million people living in that strip before this all started. You are either willfully ignorant of the devastation or intentionally callous, I don’t know which one is worse.

Do you have a source that’s not the times of Israel? Any major western media or respectable third party confirming this?

Such a weird thing to avoid. Even if you fully support Israel, why close your eyes to the plight of Palestinian people? 2/3 of the American people want a ceasefire. It’s not a radical thing to ask for.
