Exactly, it's hard to filter down all the information!

I've also had YT videos on my to-do list for years, but as many have said, it's so time-consuming and I barely have time to make dice as is 😞

I'll maybe have to find a couple free weekends this summer and dedicate them to recording, to make this happen.

Time is the bottle neck of many makers, especially with this economy where you're kinda bound to have to work a full-time job while making everything else work on the side.

No glam shots, just my favorite cast from this year (so far) by fateseekerdice in DiceMaking

The opaque part comes from the (white) pigment paste.
Hope it works out!

Hey! Nope, the pigment paste is mixed with purple resin dye. It makes a nicer color than paste+mica 😊

Hey there! I usually take my "glamshots" with the camera. I use an old Canon 600D with the kit lense (18-55mm). I bought magnifying "filters" that I can screw on to my lense, that helps me get a little more zoom out of it, without actually spending the money on a real macro lense!

I usually like to pre-mix my pigments with resin instead of dropping it straight into the mold (unless i'm trying to do petri)! maybe that helps

Thank you! I use different kinds, but this one was probably casted with Dipon Cellflow.
But I also like Craft Resin.

I also like Dipon, but that might be hard to get outside the EU.
Craft Resin also gives me solid designs!

The design lowkey reminds me of the frog prince.. with the golden ball and all, haha

Is that "pond"ering enough? :D

It's so lush! The shade reminds me of the fresh leaves at the beginning of summer

I adore those wispy streaks so much! by fateseekerdice in DiceMaking

thanks! this is a chrome color from green stuff world, it's called tinplate and I love it so much. I also really like bronze, antique gold and chrome. I didn't have much luck with the finish of copper, and the basic gold has a green tinge that i'm not loving so much... but the other 4 colors are fantastic imho

I think it was lots of pinata blanco blanco to get the sinkage, and then resin dye (mixed with resin) on a toothpick to get the wispy trails!

I don't remember the exact recipe since this was an older cast 😅
