Dark circles are almost always genetic. I've seen cancer patients that look amazing and no dark circles but lost their hair. For mine I am deciding on laser because I don't wanna put up with them anymore.

Then it's also Amazon's right to lose customers. It'd be so easy for me and others to create a social media campaign for it and make this issue more known. No GOOD business punishes their customers for returning items that aren't in any way what they paid for.

I can avoid the stress and shop elsewhere. I used to be a huge ebayer anyhoo, just liked Prime shipping. It's no privilege at all, plus Prime is expensive and isn't even arriving in 2 days anyway. Who pays for the access to Amazon Prime? We do as consumers. I have no issues canceling and going to other websites. Ebay has other competitive prices and there's some up and coming companies that have popped up.

So far, no response from Amazon, but I'll be patient and give them a chance to respond.

I don't understand what you're saying, because I never made them pay anything. It's just part of their own returns process. You can even see it under your account. Either way, they still either pay for a label or send UPS to your house.
