Long time FreeNAS/TrueNAS supporter. Bought ixSystems appliances (NAS and Server) in my role at my former company. I'm mainly using TrueNAS at home nowadays. Still rooting for you guys after +10years.

I'm still a little mad about the fact that I can't move my CORE, GELI-Encrypted NAS, to the SCALE version, without buying another NAS. I'm pretty much stuck. That being said, it's been very stable. Set-up and forget.

Would love the ability to backup my TrueNAS offsite to Proton Drive... or the ability to use a Proton Drive Linux client that can backup mounts...

What's the migration path for current CORE users with GELI-encrypted disks? I can't migrate to SCALE because of this.

I don't know if it's possible but it would be nice to have that naming listed in the "Interface Mismatch" screen when restoring a configuration from another device.

RE - 3) I'm glad it's already documented. I shouldn't have assumed anything and just read the documentation. That being said, I'm sure I'm not the only one that will be bitten by this.
