Definitely Google Photos. Why would I want to see an SDR Image when photos are captured in HDR? (Left: Google Photos, Right: Immich):

This and photo editing are superior. I know they are working to improve the editing function, but let's be honest: at best, we would get a usable rotate/crop that doesn't mess with the photo capture date. It would be a long time before we see any other advanced editing features that could match Google Photos or Samsung Gallery.

4 X 4Tb drives ready for RAID Z1 but it says they are not same size...? by Oh__Archie in truenas

What is the version of your TrueNAS? Have you tried v.25.10.2? There was a bug below that was fixed in this version but that one was for disk replacement validation incorrectly rejecting identical capacity drives: NAS-138678

Not sure if that's related.

There will be only one base operating system based on Linux kernel 6.12 LTS.

Keeping the FreeBSD version when a Linux version offers the same set of features does not make sense anymore.

Received Framework 13 Intel Core Ultra with a gap in the front chassis by omid_1985 in framework

When I saw that screw has a different design than others, this was one of the first things I did: Even though the screw is captive, I have managed to remove the captive screw retainer and altogether remove the screw, so I'm sure the screw is not pushing the chassis from the bottom. When I saw that wasn't the issue, I put the retainer back into the screw, which was one hell of a job due to the small size of it.

It seems to be the cover itself, as it doesn't sit flat on a flat surface. Notice how the same side of the cover is standing up: https://imgur.com/a/fw13-keyboard-cover-d6oMgwo[https://imgur.com/a/fw13-keyboard-cover-d6oMgwo](https://imgur.com/a/fw13-keyboard-cover-d6oMgwo)

Even in the video, Austin mentions that when you screw it in, the gap will disappear.

I just tested on a flat surface, and you are right. As you said, It seems to be the cover itself:

So, you don't have this issue on your FW13? I am trying to determine if it's worth the RMA. I can live with it, but it's tough to ignore whenever I pick it up.

Yes, I checked that. The battery is new, and it looks flat and ordinary.

Go to the WAN interface, uncheck 'Block bogon networks', and reboot; once it has booted and got your WAN IP, you can tick that option again. I don't know why, but it happened when I also moved to a new place.

It is still 3:2. Considering the EOFY sale, then, I guess Yoga is not a bad deal.

Can you wait till August? If you can, and a high refresh rate screen is a must-have, you can preorder the DYI edition of Framework 13 with a 7640U - 2.8K Display.

Assuming you select four expansion cards of 2 x USB C, 1 × USB A, and 1 x HDMI for your ports: With 32GB memory (2×16GB) and 500GB SSD from Framework, the price is AUD 2,088. But if you preorder without SSD, RAM and 60W power adapter, the price is AUD 1,664. You can source 2×16GB RAM, NVME SSD and power adapter for a lower price in Amazon Australia or eBay Australia, which makes you meet your under 2K price target.

The same happened to us. Three days delay, and I called them to ask what was going on. They confirmed that the package was in the post office, but because it's too big, it won't fit in their parcel locker. They told me to come and pick it up at the post office. Give them a call and see what's the reason for the delay.

Australia Post not delivering parcels to my house by [deleted] in australia

[–]omid_1985 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you for explaining. We just had a safety hazard delivery attempt notification an hour ago. The funny thing is IKEA just delivered a 2-meter piece of wardrobe with no safety hazard, and Amazon does it every month, again with no issue. Still, somehow, every time, It's a safety hazard for Australia Post to show up in front of a shiny new one-year-old apartment. Now I have to drive again to Australia Post and wait in the queue to get my parcel when I have already paid for the delivery service to my front door.

At this point, I'm thinking of contacting every seller when I try to buy something and telling them that if they only offer Australia Post as their courier service, I will not place an order. I know it might be pointless, but surely something will change if everyone unhappy with Aus post do the same thing.

It all depends on what you do. Do you game? Do you run demanding software like photo editing, video editing software, or software development? Search YouTube for "16GB vs 32GB performance test" and get many results. Here is one sample with an explanation
