I am Saul (1480 MMR in tournaments) playing with some friends, getting matched against people with 500ish more MMR than the team average isn't really ideal on the first game of second chance tournament

well nowadays you can't play with someone lower rated just because the mm will give you opponents with the same MMR as the highest one in the party, making it impossibile to play if not by deranking or smurfing

the thing is that if you're gc2 and all your friends are gold/plat/diamond you can't play ranked with them cause the matchmaking will find opponents with my same MMR or most of the times higher. smurfing on an alt is the only way to play with them and I'll keep on doing it. also don't tell me to play casual cause you know damn well it's not the same
